Established in 1994, Terrain Floorings is focused on the manufacturing and delivering of superior quality rubber flooring products to its customers. In their commitment to sustainability and preservation of the environment, Terrain also uses recycled rubber in the manufacturing of one of their key products whilst ensuring quality that is of an international standard. The company approached our team for a complete redesigning of their brand in order to create a unique brand identity that embodies their distinctive features and establish their presence in the digital world.


For the visual identity of the brand, we created a three part logo design, each conveying a significant aspect of the brand. The dual green band at the top is significant to the company’s values of well-being and performance while the colour green itself is symbolic of their commitment to the environment. The middle part of the logo uses a strong and bold typography, which literally stands for the terrain itself. The bottom part of the logo is the tagline “Resilience in Every Sense”, which is the foundation upon which the company and their products are built. After developing the logo, we ideated on the language that truly fits the company’s persona–exuding confidence in their expertise but equally comfortable in a playful casual approach depending on the occasion.

As part of the project, we also developed a simple and hassle-free website, which was custom made to the clients requirements, with the aesthetics and tone reflecting the very spirit of Terrain. Each page of the website clearly lays out the various products that Terrain offers, making it easy for any user to understand and explore the diverse range of products. The simple and conversational language makes Terrain approachable to its vast clientele, whether it be an architect, an interior designer, a gym owner, or even commercial enterprises looking to procure solutions for rubber floorings. The website also features an “insights” section with the purpose of increasing awareness on the benefits of rubber flooring and to drive engagement among its customer base. In order to increase brand awareness, we also developed an exhibition stall showcasing Terrain’s products and the aesthetics of the stall was modelled after an art gallery, creating an innovative experience for users to browse through the products.




Mobile user experience was one of the key issues to be addressed, so we suggested simplifying the website’s contents by giving the omnipresent photos and captions a little bit of space. With enough breathing room, high-quality model photography became bolder and more emphasized. The icons, buttons, and menus also benefited from more legroom, offering a much more streamlined experience.
